Zodiac is a map in Happy Wars. Zodiac is an alternate Desert map, a medium map set at night. It has two main paths, one with two Towers and the other with the remaining tower. Securing both paths can be challenging as they are on opposite sides of the map, and getting to the other side can be time consuming.
History[]
Zodiac was released on November 16th, 2012. It was released in the Steam version on August 13, 2014 with the Ver. 1.2.0 update, but a bug concerning League Points caused problems and was rolled back to Ver. 1.1.2 the next day, thus removing the map.[1] It was brought back in Ver. 1.2.1 on August 26, 2014.[2]
Strategies[]
Flank Route: On either side there are paths on the outside of the map so sneak around the teams trying to capture the towers. Be wary of breakable bridges, Mages Lightning Strikes, and the many bombs scattered across the map, because it's easy to get knocked off the edges. These flank routes can be very time consuming.
Notes[]
- Like the map Desert, there are Antlion traps, which are more centralized in the path with two towers.
Trivia[]
- The menu screen for this map features a parody of the Gemini symbol. This constellation just features two Warriors, both in different poses, next to each other, and with basic gear. Present in other views, there is the Dragon God (Light's Sacred Beast), and the Lion God (Dark's Sacred Beast). These also satirize real-life constellations (Draco and Leo).
- However, Draco is not a Zodiac constellation, unlike the others.
