In many RPGs items that have multiple stats usually have a trade off. More attack but less defense. More defense but less attack. In Happy Wars, Mage items have Attack and Magic Attack. Helmets and Armor have Defense and Magic Defense. Shields have Guard Power and Magic Guard. Anyone notice any correlations?
For identical items, do copies with more Magic Attack/Defense/Guard have less regular Attack/Defense/Guard? Do they trend to where more Magic stat tends to have more regular stat?

Or is there range for stats (which seem to be 10-20 difference between the min and max) that is set for regular stats, and a range for magic stats, and they work independent of each other? Any observations?
