Language Name Meaning
Japanese 砂漠の村の神隠し Desert Village's Spiriting Away

  • This mission's (Japanese and English) title is a reference to the Hayao Miyazaki film Spirited Away (Japanese: 千と千尋の神隠し Sen and Chihiro's Spiriting Away). This is further evidenced by the Japanese name following the same naming pattern.
    • The term "kamikakushi" (Japanese: 神隠し) translates literally as "to be hidden by gods." This is not fitting, considering that neither mission contains ghosts, gods, and the like (supernatural entities).
