As you can see, this Durandal 2 has S.KO duration plus, Warrior slayer, KO Effect lvl 3 and KO Crusher.

Buffs and Debuffs power up or weaken your character respectively and can be found on a variety of items and in-game abilities.

For the buffs that have a level after them, the higher the level, the stronger the effect. Buffs of the same type and level can't stack; but buffs of different names or levels can stack. Eg: Attack Lv1 (+120) and Attack Lv2 (+200) would equal +320 to the attack stat, but two identical enchant buffs or two Attack Lv1 buffs would not stack, or if a weapon has both an Ice Enchantment and KO ability, the enemy struck can turn into a snowman or get knocked out, not both.

Item Modification[]

Item Modification allows you to transfer a buff from one item to another by storing a buff and choosing a different item with an avaliable slot, or remove a buff completely. In order to transfer a buff, the item you wish to attach the buff to will require an empty spot, the buff must be white, and of the same class (Only for class specific buffs, like you cannot put a wind enchant+ on a warrior, but you can take and put attack up on any class). The cost for the buff transfer changes based on the type and level. Storing or Erasing multiple buffs increases the price for each buff being added. Remember that the material item used will be destroyed unless you use a pincer, so think carefully before transferring any buffs into another item.

Erasing a buff using (Erase a buff) will NOT destroy your item, but using (Store a Buff) WILL destroy your target item that you wish to take buffs from. You can prevent your item from being destroyed by using a Buff Pincer from the item shop, they cost tickets however. There is a free pincer from co-op rewards for 250000 Co-op points. Buff erasing/storing can cost anywhere from 400 to 3000 Happy Stars per buff. Buffs that are in orange are permanent, and therefore cannot be removed.

An alternative payment is using Happy Tickets, rather than Happy Stars.

General Buff types[]

Skill+[]

Skill+ buffs give the equipped player that skill from the beginning of the match, like Rush+. Skill+ buffs available to an equipment type are tied to the button that the skill corresponds to. Weapons have A skills, Armor gets Y skills, and Headgear gets B skills. Items cannot have more than one Skill+ Buff (like Rush+ and Smash+). If the weapon, armor, and headgear all have Skill+ buffs, the player can learn a total of 9 skills.[1]

Skill Modifiers[]

These buffs are a more recent addition to the game. They have a range of effects that vary from increasing effect radius (Wide Dispel, etc.), increasing skill duration, as well as shortening warmup time.

Special Buffs[]

Special buffs work outside in combat, and can be found on any item on any class, with the exception of statues. Their role improves the player's equipment.

Debuffs[]

There are also debuffs in purple. They have opposite effect of their buff counterparts making them bad for battle. As a rule of thumb try to avoid wearing items with Debuffs on them.

Weapon Buffs:[]

Attack Up: Attack power rises.

Ambush Attack Up: Increases the damage dealt when attacking an enemy from behind.

Anti-Material Up: Increases damage to cannons, ballistas, etc.

Anti-Guard Attack Up: Increases the damage dealt to enemies that are guarding.

AP Damage Attack: Enemy AP is reduced in proportion to damage they suffer.

Construction Speed Up: Increases construction speed for towers, ballistas, ladders, etc.

Lightning Enchant Effect: "Lightning Enchant" effect is added to weapon.

Ice Enchant Effect: "Ice Enchant" effect is added to weapon.

Wind Enchant Effect: "Wind Enchant" effect is added to weapon.

Fire Enchant Effect: "Fire Enchant" effect is added to weapon.

Smash Effect: Slight chance of sending enemies flying during normal or guard attacks.

KO Effect: Slight chance of knocking out enemies during normal or guard attacks.

Stun Effect: Slight chance of stunning enemy during normal or guard attacks.

Smash Power Up: Enemies are sent flying even further during smash attacks.

Warrior Slayer: Damage for all attacks against Warrior types rises.

Cleric Slayer: Damage for all attacks against Cleric types rises.

Mage Slayer: Damage for all attacks against Mage types rises.

Horse Slayer: Dismounts almost any rider.

Shock Crusher: Attacking an electrified enemy deals additional damage.

Freeze Crusher: Attacking a frozen enemy deals additional damage.

KO Crusher: Attack a knocked-out enemy deals additional damage.

Stun Crusher: Attacking a stunned enemy deals additional damage.

Electrify Duration Plus: Increases the duration of electrify-effect on enemies.

Frozen Duration Plus: Increases the duration of frozen effect on enemies.

KO Duration Plus: Increases the duration of knock-out effect on enemies.

Stun Duration Plus: Increases the duration of stun effect on enemies.

Fast Attack: Increases the speed of your normal attacks.

Attack Reach Up: Extends the reach of your normal attacks.

Fast Smash: Shortens the lead time for "Smash".

Super Spinning Blade: Increases your travel speed while using "Spinning Blade" and "Double Spinning Blade".

Longer Rush: Extends the distance of "Rush".

Long Rapid Stab: An improved version of the Warrior's rapid stab.

Hyper Enchant Attack: Increases the reach and power of Super Enchant Attack.

Dash Attack Power-Up: Increases the Dash Attack damage of Warrior types.

Rapid Stab Power-Up: Increases the Rapid Stab damage of Warrior types.

Hyper Smash: Increases the reach and attack power of "Smash".

Guard Move Speed Up: Mobility speed while guarding rises.

AntiMagic Guard Up: Raises magic guard power and reduces damage suffered from magic attacks.

Guard Power Up: Raises guard power and reduces damage suffered from physical attacks.

Fast Guard Attack: Increases the speed of your guard attacks.

Crushing Uppercut: Powers up Uppercut's Attack to cause a knock-out effect by hitting above the enemy's guard.

Spartan Uppercut: Powers up Uppercut's Attack with shield while also evading the enemy's attacks.

Uppercut Power Up: While using the shield's Uppercut attacks, increases damage and the distance enemies are sent flying.

Guard HP Recovery Up: Allows your HP to recover faster while you are guarding.

Get Hit & Gain AP: AP Recovers according to the amount of damage suffered from an attack.

Guard Attack Up: Increases the attack power of your guard attacks.

Falling Damage Down: Reduces damage from falling.

Defense up: Defense power rises.

Lightning Resistance: Reduces the amount of damage and electrified downtime cause by "Thunderbolt", "Lightning Strike" and "Lightning Enchant" attacks.

Ice Resistance: Reduces the amount of damage and chance of becoming frozen cause by "Ice Shot", "Blizzard" and "Ice Enchant" attacks.

Wind Resistance: Reduces the amount of damage and stagger downtime caused by "Wind Blast", "Wind Trap" and "Wind Enchant" attacks.

Fire Resistance: Reduces the amount of damage and chance of additional damage caused by "Fireball", "Magic Napalm" and "Fire Enchant" attacks.

Smash Resistance: Smash attacks no longer send you flying as far as usual.
